The Forge Missional Imagination Conference was a fantastic success. Click here for photos. More than 150 people came from all across America and the world to be inspired by some of the leading thinkers on missional imagination and be part of the first Forge America Hub in Chicago. The Hirsch’s indroduced their latest book, “Untamed” and shared their hearts for missional discipleship. Practitioners from across the city of Chicago and the country came together to discuss how the church can make a greater IMPACT in it’s communities through a missional posture. Keynote speakers Alan and Debra Hirsch, authors, Founding Directors of Forge and International Consultants; Mike Frost Assistant Principal of Morling College, Author and Evangelist; Dave Ferguson, Lead Pastor of COMMUNITY and Spiritual Entrepreneur of NewThing, as well as other local grassroots missionaries inspired and instructed those in attendance. The founders of the Australian Forge network (Alan and Deb Hirsch, Mike Frost and Dez Gardiner) and other supporters prayed for and commissioned Kim Hammond in the official launch of Forge America.
